About Leslie

She initially discovered yoga in her late adolescence, but it was not until after her father died before her 22nd birthday and while pursuing multiple post-graduate degrees, including an MBA in marketing and an MS in Counseling Psychology, that she began to practice yoga routinely and to experience so many of the life-changing benefits that come with regular practice.  Over the past 20 years, she has, personally, explored a variety of yoga styles, including Bikram yoga, Iyengar yoga, Kundalini yoga, Ashtanga yoga and Power yoga.

Prior to becoming a wife and mother, she worked as a grief counselor, helping children learn to cope with their own experience of surviving the death of a loved one.  She certainly found her regular personal yoga practice to be a priceless means of support in dealing with the stress, sadness, and imbalance that can accompany working with grieving children.  During her first pregnancy, she paused her personal yoga practice and also gained 100LBS.  Once she returned to her mat and began to see the dramatic physical transformation occurring in her new (aka forever-changed) body, she was motivated to share yoga and all it offers with others.  Leslie pursued and received her 200-hour certification to become a Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher and immediately began teaching and further in-depth study into several relevant topics, including subtle body anatomy, and physiology.  In 2010 she studied under Shakta Kaur Khalsa, founder of the Radiant Child Yoga Program and completed all three levels of the Radiant Child© Yoga Basic Training.  In the interim between having her second and third children she added yin yoga as well as pre-natal and post-natal yoga instruction to her experience base.  Most recently, she is currently pursuing her Level IV certification in the Quantum Alignment system and has added Human Design to her arsenal of wellness tools.

Finding herself challenged by the typical and unexpected stresses that come with partnering for years and parenting three young children while approaching 40, meditation and conscious eating both became surprisingly effective resources when it came to managing an as-yet un-diagnosable and sometimes-debilitating digestive dysfunction she had been "living with" for 20 years.  In 2016 a personal inquiry led to her discovery of the undeniable benefits of energy healing, so most recently she has grown her practice to include a variety of subtle body healing modalities, including reiki, sound healing, and EFT.

Today, it has become her goal to incorporate her own diverse education, training, and experience into a program that can offer people the opportunity to improve themselves – physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.  Mathematics teaches us that nothing exists in a vacuum.  Physics teaches us that everything is connected and separate, simultaneously.  Religion calls it Spirit.  Science calls it energy.  Some people call it vibe.  Just as all our individual body systems are connected and interrelated, so, too, are each of us as individuals and as parts of this whole.

Working together to heal the parts of the individual in imbalance; with guidance you create a better version of you with which to move forward.
